Vocals // Guitars since 2015
Assault was my first band, ever. We began in the 7th grade when my friend Zach and I picked up the guitar with the intent of starting a band. This led us to our first gig at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, participating in the once annual High School Rock Off.
Initially inspired by thrash and groove metal, Assault’s objective was always to deliver face melting riffs and explosive live show. We haven’t played much lately but rest assured that we have slowly been grinding out our strongest and most inspired work yet.
I have been very lucky to have played so many awesome shows and met so many amazing people through this band. Assault is truly at the root of all I do.
Bass 2021-2023 // Guitar since 2023
Mutilation Barbecue is an onslaught of death metal. Since 2020 the band has released 3 EPs and a full-length album, mostly alongside the Maggot Stomp label.
I was originally the bass player of this band. I took the creative liberty of making the bass lines as funky as I could justify for an extreme metal band, which came to be an enjoyable exercise. Following the recording and release of Amalgamations of Gore, Larry Johnson III assumed bass duties and I took on the role of guitarist.
Our latest release, Flesh Regenerated, is a first look at this refined lineup. So far it’s brought Mutilation Barbecue all over North America, and I’m hoping that our forthcoming 2027 full-length will take us all around the world.
Guitars since 2020
Olathia has been a band for about as long as I’ve played guitar, but our paths didn’t cross until 2019 when Assault shared the stage with them. I was brought in to help finish writing The Forest Witch album, which was subsequently released in 2023.
I love that being in Olathia gratsthe creative space to get weird and experiment. The band has self-described as “power thrash,” but I think the musical scope of this band reaches beyond that. At the end of the day, the vibe of the band is undoubtedly rock n’ roll in both sound and intention.
The wheels of our follow up album are turning, and it’s shaping up to be our most colorful and adventurous release yet.
Guitar since 2025
This band was theorized long before it came to fruition. My friends of the blues-rock-r&b group The Brakes had thrown around the idea of making an old school, spikes and leather type of heavy metal band for years before being asked to put a song on a Cleveland metal compilation CD. Opting to work on a new song as opposed to rereleasing one of their bluesier number, Iron Bitch was born.
After working on recording their first track Luminous Visions, I was asked to join the band. We spent most of 2026 crafting our debut EP Nephilim, which features members of The Brakes and Cleveland metal veterans Ringworm ripping through bombastic speed metal riffs.
In my opinion, my work recording, mixing, and performing on this EP is some of my finest. I am eagerly awaiting the next step in our metal journey.
